Billiards happens to be an age-old game and has been opined by many as a serious sport. Though played within the four walls of a room, before an audience representing the top most echelons of society, but here is no doubt in it that with the passage of years the game is gaining popularity. Though originally termed as the game of the aristocratic class in the recent years it is trying to have its footstep within the general section of the society, thanks to the media doing enough to make this game popular by broadcasting the championships of several competitions. How the game is played? It should be noted in this regard, that the rules of billiards are quite simple, and not too unlike the barroom sport anyone more is inclined to play. To begin with, in the game of billiards, all of the balls within the racking triangle must be touching.
